Best way to see the Hoover Dam! Our tour guide was very informative and knew a lot regarding the history of the Dam, along with his own personal experiences.

This was my second trip and the tour itself was excellent as expected. The raft was large and well maintained. The tour guide (Matthew) was very knowledgeable and friendly. The views of Hoover Dam and the canyon walls along with the rafting experience make this a great trip for the price. We did have an issue with the transportation service but Hoover Dam Rafting Adventures followed up with explanation. I plan on returning next year with my family.

Kathleen, our tour guide, was wonderful! July is very hot in Vegas/Boulder City so be conscious of that. We did the three hour trip down the Colorado and we were provided a lunch with water and the boat had a container of water for refill. They also provided towels to get wet and keep your neck cool which were so helpful in this heat. We also stopped at two places with the chance to get in the water and cool off. Even with it being 109°F it was a great trip. Bring a hat and plenty of sunscreen if you go in the summer and wear clothes you're not worried about getting in the water in.

One of the best experiences we've had kayaking. The 2 days trip was amazing, great people, beautiful landscapes and a funn paddle. Will do again when kids grow up.

Mixed review but hopefully helpful to others. Booked Postcard tour that has exclusive permit to put in just below Hoover Dam in a restricted spot. Great guide, knowledge, views. BUT the "float" is just that. The raft doesn't go anywhere as it goes 50ft from shore and guide holds it in place while gives history of dam, bridge and other historical pieces. Great if you'd rather do that than tour Dam itself and be out on water, but I thought it actually floated down the CO River. A bit of misleading or strategic lack of information on the booking site. If you want to float, I think the Black Canyon tour would be the bet. Also we took our 2 year old and boat was solid and safe if you have a small one. Tour was short enough that she enjoyed too. Gripe is I called to specify and clarify if safe day prior (which they said yes), but when we arrived the guides didn't have a toddler life vest that was required. Had to modify a larger one to meet the requirements but that didn't make her happy.
